FZ8 Polarizing Brightfield / Darkfield Stereo Microscope

The FZ8-ILBD-POL is a stereo microscope configured with a rotatable polarizer on a stand with brightfield/ darkfield viewing capabilities. Choose from a binocular or trinocular viewing head when ordering.

• Head: 45° inclined viewing head rotates 360°. Choose from a binocular or a trinocular viewing head. On the trinocular viewing head, light is split 50:50 between eyetubes and trinocular port. The microscope head can easily be set up to use click stops, or the stops may be disabled for continuous magnification. If enabled, click stops are at 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, and 5x.
• Eyepieces: Includes widefield 10x eyepieces, FN=24 with ± 5 diopter adjustment on each eye.
• Objective Lenses: Zoom range of 0.65x - 5.2x. The microscope head can easily be set up to use click stops, or the stops may be disabled for continuous magnification. If enabled, click stops are at 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, and 5x.

• Total Magnification: 6.5x - 52x
• Stand: Stand has a mirror base for brightfield and darkfield observation modes. Mirror position can be adjusted. Stand includes a removable plastic hand rest that fits on the front. Post of the stand measures 11.75" high. Light opening is ~55mm in diameter.

• Focusing: Rack & pinion focusing, and special tension adjustment located on focusing knobs to adjust tension.
• Illumination: Stand has built-in LED illumination with external intensity rheostat control and on/off switch control box.
• Polarization: Includes a rotatable polarizer that fits on the bottom of the stereo microscope body. A polarizer / analyzer fits onto the stand.
