Fein Optic FZ8 binocular gemological zoom stereo microscopes have standard brightfield and darkfield illumination with 52x standard magnification, no need to add an auxiliary objective lens.
- Objective Lens: 0.65x - 5.2x zoom built-in objective provides continuous magnification with option to use click stops. The microscope head can easily be set up to use click stops, or the stops may be disabled for continuous magnification. If enabled, click stops are at 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, and 5x. Zoom ratio of 8:1.
- Viewing Head: 45° inclined binocular viewing head rotates 360°.
- Eyepieces: Includes a pair of high eyepoint widefield 10x eyepieces, FN24 with ±5 diopter adjustment on each eye. Optional 15x/16mm and 20x/12mm eyepieces are available for purchase separately.
- Total Magnification: 6.5x - 52x. See chart below for alternative magnification options.
- Stage: Hardcoat anodized surface measuring 7.5" x 7.5" with mounting hole for gem clamp on both sides to customize gem clamp positioning. Lever to switch between brightfield and darkfield. Includes one gem clamp.
- Stand: Specialized gemology base with carrying handle tilts and swivels.
