Description  

The Lumencor CELESTA light engine provides five or seven individually addressable solid-state laser light sources with an advanced electronic control system to deliver unprecedented output power and performance. Use for confocal, MERFISH, super-resolution microscopy, optogenetics, FRAP and DNA-PAINT applications.

  • Sources: Option of 5 or 7 independently controlled laser sources (VCGRN, VCTGYRN, or VBCTGRN) with output despeckler. Choose from the following options:
    • VCTGYRN: 7 independently-controlled laser light sources with output despeckler and 1.5mm SMA to SMA output coupler. Power output is ~600 - 700 mW per color channel (~400 mW violet).
    • VBCTGRN: 7 independently controlled laser light sources with output despeckler and FC/PC output coupler. Power output is ~750 mW per color channel (~400 mW violet). Included optical fiber is 400 μm in diameter with a square core.
    • QUATTRO VCGRN for MERFISH: 5 independently controlled laser light sources with output despeckler and FC/PC output coupler. Power output is ~200 mW (V) ~750 mW (C,G), ~1000 mW (R) and 2000 mW (N) at distal end of 400 μm multimode fiber. Included optical fiber is 400 μm in diameter with a square core.
  • Wavelengths: Nominal center wavelengths 405nm, 450nm, 477nm, 488nm, 518nm, 545nm, 639nm, 750nm
  • Bandpass Filters: Integrally installed bandpass filters for spectral output refinement.
  • Light Delivery: SMA or FC/PC terminated optical fiber (depending on selected option) is included.
  • Operational Control: Onboard computer with server/client architecture and embedded command library.
  • Control Interfaces: Source selection, light output on/off and intensity via serial interface (RS-232/USB or TCP). Source selection and light output on/off via TTL.
  • Software: Onboard GUI or PC-based image acquisition software.
  • Size/Weight: W x L x H = 145mm x 340mm x 203mm (5.7" x 13.4" x 8"), 9 kg (19.9 lb)
  • Warranty: 24 Months
