The BWRB31D-PH full phase contrast digital beer brewing and wine making microscope was created to provide advanced phase contrast across all magnifications for identifying and counting yeast, bacteria, wort, mold and other samples that vintners and breweries are searching for in the cultivation process. The USB digital camera connects into the computer and provides 5 megapixels to capture images and video. Includes software for making measurements.
- Body: Trinocular head with 30° eyetubes. Interpupillary adjustment from 48-75mm. The 3-position beam splitter provides 100% light to the camera, 50/50 to the camera and eyepieces, or 100% light to the eyepieces.
- Objective Lenses: Quintuple nosepiece holds Infinity Corrected Plan Phase Contrast 10x, 20x, 40x, 100x oil immersion objective lenses.
- Eyepieces: Widefield PL 10x / 22mm eyepieces. Left eyetube has +/-5 focusing adjustment.
- Total Magnification: 100x, 200x, 400x, 1000x.
- Specimen Stage: 185 x 142mm mechanical stage with 75mm x 50mm X-Y travel range.
- Condenser: Phase turret condenser with BF, 10xPh, 20xPH, 40xPh, and 100xPH stops. Iris diaphragm. Includes phase centering telescope and centering screws.
- Focusing: Coaxial coarse and fine focusing controls. Tension adjustable. Fine adjustment of 0.002mm.
- Illumination: Koehler 3w LED illumination provides bright and uniform field for each magnification. Field iris is adjustable with slot for 45mm diameter filter. Includes blue, green, and yellow filters. Voltage 100~240V.
- Camera & Software: Includes c-mount adapter and 5.1 megapixel digital camera and software. USB3 camera connects directly a computer for viewing live images from the microscope. Capture and save images and video. The software can be used to make measurements, add annotations to photos, and adjust color balance.
- Software Calibration: If you plan to make measurements using the software you will need to calibrate the microscope. Calibrating your software with the microscope requires use of a stage micrometer. When ordering please select this option if you do not already have a stage micrometer. The stage micrometer has 2 scales: 1mm / 100 divisions and 10mm / 100 divisions. If NIST certification is selected 10 points will be certified. Please note that NIST certification takes approximately 2 weeks.
