Dissecting Microscopes

The dissecting microscopes below can all be used for science dissection projects, viewing printed circuit boards, or quality inspection tasks. Each dissection microscope (not including the handheld microscope) has both a top light and a bottom light, each of which can be used independently of the other. Most often, the top light is used while dissecting. The digital dissection microscope allows you to view a live image on your computer screen or on the included tablet while dissecting your specimen. This is quite helpful in the classroom setting, where more than one student can gather around the computer monitor or the tablet LCD microscope. Additionally, in a quality control setting a digital tablet microscope can reduce a lot of time spent looking through the eyepieces that sometimes results in eye strain.

  • Live images can be viewed or on the computer using included software.
  • Built-in top and bottom LED illuminators operate separately.
   Stereo Boom Dissecting Microscopes
Stereo zoom boom microscopes. Stereo zoom boom stand microscopes provided extra room for viewing larger samples.
  • Large boom stand provides added working room for maneuvering around larger samples.
  • Optional LED ring lights or dual pipe lights available.
  • Boom stand has large heavy base or can clamp to a table edge.
  • Zoom range typically from 6x - 45x, but can be altered upward with auxiliary lenses or different eyepieces.

  MW3-L9 Stereo Zoom Dissecting Microscope

Zoom microscope model MW3-L9

Compact stereo zoom dissecting microscope.

Microscope provides a zoom range of 10x-30x with sharp, parfocalled images throughout the zoom range - no need to refocus!

  • Head rotates 360 degrees so eyepieces can be positioned toward or away from the arm.
  • Included is a 10 watt halogen top light with directional lever and a 5 watt fluorescent bottom light. Select top, bottom or both with side switches.

S2-BL10 Dual Power Dissecting Microscope

Dual Power Stereo Microscope

Dual-power dissecting microscope.

Stereo microscope provides dual powers of 10x and 30x.

  • Viewing head rotates 360 degrees in focusing block and body can be rotated about the vertical post.
  • Dual objective pairs, parfocalled, parcentered and achromatic.  Magnification is changed by rotating the (black) objective turret 90 degrees.
  • Uses a high intensity LED ring light to flood the working surface with light.
  • Post stand allows the ability to raise the head up higher for viewing larger objects.
