The Fein Optic RB20 basic phase contrast microscope was created to provide simple phase contrast. This phase contrast microscope can be used to identify bacteria, rotifers, blood cells, yeast and protozoa among many other samples.
- Objective Lenses: Infinity Corrected DIN Plan Achromat 4x, 10x, 40xR phase contrast, 100xR (oil immersion) plan objectives. All microscope objectives are parfocalled, parcentered and color-coded. Quad objective turret is ball-bearing mounted for smooth, precise positioning of objectives, features textured rubber knurling for easy grip. Mounted in reverse position to facilitate ease in changing slides.
- Viewing Head: Your choice of binocular or trinocular Siedentopf head inclined at 30º, interpupillary adjustment 47mm to 75mm. Select when ordering.
- Eyepieces: Widefield High Eyepoint Focusing 10x eyepieces / FN 20mm. Eyepiece can hold a 20mm diameter reticle if the reticle retaining ring is added.
- Eyepiece Reticle: Select when ordering from the following options if you would like an eyepiece reticle installed: no reticle, a dual ruler reticle, a pointer reticle, or a cross line reticle.
- Reticle Specifications: If dual ruler reticle is selected a dual ruler 0.4" and 10mm reticle will be installed with the following specifications:
- 0.4" scale numbered 0-40, each division 0.1"
- 0-10 has 10 divisions = 0.01"
- 10-20 has 5 divisions = 0.02"
- 20-40 has 4 divisions = 0.05"
- 10mm scale numbered 0-1
- 0-1mm has 10 divisions = 0.1mm
- 1-2mm has 5 divisions = 0.2mm

- Condenser: 1.25 N.A. Abbe condenser has rack & pinion focusing and iris diaphragm. Includes phase slider.
