- Condenser: Manual long working distance condenser, NA 0.55, WD = 27mm has 7 positions for filters, 4 for DIC and 3 for phase contrast. Includes 10x, 20x, and 40x/ 60x DIC rings for condenser.
- Illumination: 10W LED Illumination with adjustable intensity. Microscope has tilting illuminator tower with 65mm range to facilitate sample changes. Illuminator has slots for 4 filters. Includes DIC insert for transmitted illumination.

- Confocal system: Includes laser-free Aurox Clarity complete unit, which has a spinning disk scanning head. Imaging modes for the confocal system are confocal fluorescence, brightfield/ DIC, and widefield fluorescence.
- Confocal light source: Includes CoolLED pE400 Max 4 channel light source, which is directly coupled to Aurox confocal system. Includes filter cube with quad-LED filter set.
