This Prior Scientific automatic well plate loader system includes two stainless steel racks. Not included but required: ProScan III motorized stage and controller. The robotic well plate loader is designed for use with inverted microscopes and Prior's OpenStand-V. It has a capacity of 20 plates suited to high-content screening applications.
Positional feedback sensors on all three axes and an automatic plate detection process, as well as an easy to set up loading routine ensure the system can run independently for long periods of time without any intervening. Rack sensors allows racks to be swapped while unit is running. Compatible with standard multiwell plates up to 19mm thick, both with and without lids.
