Andrology Semen Analysis Phase Microscope

This andrology and semen analysis microscope is used for viewing both the quality and quantity of semen. Andrologists use phase contrast when they do not want to stain a sample in order to view the shape of the sperm. Semen analysis microscopes include a heated stage plate and controller, which allows the semen to remain living, which is important in andrology analysis.

• Objective Lenses: Reversed quintuple objective turret holds the included DIN Infinity Corrected Optical System (ICOS) Objectives:  
  • Plan Phase Contrast 10x, NA 0.25, WD 12.1mm
  • Plan Phase Contrast 20x, NA 0.40, WD 1.5mm
  • Plan Phase Contrast 40x, NA 0.65WD 0.36mm
  • Plan Phase Contrast 100x, NA 1.25, WD 0.18mm
• Viewing Head: Trinocular head with 30° eyetubes. Interpupillary adjustment from 48-75mm. The 3-position beam splitter provides 100% light to the camera, 50/50 light to the camera and eyepieces, or 100% light to the eyepieces.
• Eyepieces: PL-WF 10x Widefield, plan eyepieces, FN22. Left eyetube has +/-5 focusing adjustment. 
• Total Magnification: 100x, 200x, 400x and 1000x.
• Specimen Stage: 185 x 142mm mechanical stage with 75mm x 50mm movement range. 
• Illumination: High intensity 3W LED transmitted Koehler light system provides a bright and uniform field for each magnification. Field iris is adjustable with slot for 45mm diameter filter. Blue, green, and yellow filters are included. Voltage 100~240V.
• Light Focusing: Phase contrast condenser with brightfield, phase, centering screws and centering telescope. Stops include BF, PH10x, PH20x, PH40x, PH100x, with iris diaphragm.
• Focusing: Coaxial coarse and fine focusing. Tension adjustable. Fine adjustment of 0.002mm.
• Heated Stage: Includes heating stage and one channel controller. Includes all cables, power supplies, sensors and probes.
