This National Optical DC4-456H digital dual power microscope includes software and a built-in digital camera. Digital microscope has the following specifications:
- Objective Lenses: Achromatic 1x and 3x objectives provide dual magnification of 10x and 30x when using 10x eyepieces.
Paired objectives are parfocalled, parcentered and achromatic.
- Eyepieces: Choose from paired widefield 5x, 10x, 15x or 20x eyepieces (see table below for specifications).
Paired widefield eyepieces with diopter adjustment on left side. Interpupillary adjustment from 55mm to 75mm. Reticle holder/retainer accepts eyepiece reticle with 23mm O.D.
- Total Magnification: Dual magnification is changed by rotating
objective turret 90 degrees.
Your choice of magnification based on the eyepieces chosen.
NOTE: The camera will always see the equivalent of 10x eyepiece!
- 5x eyepieces = 5x and 15x
- 10x eyepieces = 10x and 30x
- 15x eyepieces = 15x and 45x
- 20x eyepieces = 20x and 60x
- Specimen Stage: Supplied with two 80mm stage plates, one frosted glass plate and one plastic black/white reversible contrast plate. Includes two locked-on stage clips. Frame is made of rugged metal with a gray enamel finish.
- Focusing: Rack and pinion focusing has slip clutch to protect mechanism against over-turning, and special tension adjustment.
- Illumination: High intensity, built-in 12v 10 watt halogen, incidental (top) illumination and 12v 10 watt tungsten, transmitted (bottom) illumination. Lights are operated with their own independent switches and can be used together or separate of each other.
12v DC power converter operates on 100v-240v 50Hz/60Hz current, without need of additional transformer.
