This digital wastewater treatment microscope was designed to identify bacteria in wastewater, view live images on the computer, and capture and save images, as well as make measurements with the included software. It features a full phase contrast system with a 5.1mp camera. This wastewater treatment microscope can be used to identify bacteria, rotifers and protozoa in wastewater.

  • Objective Lenses: Reversed quintuple objective turret holds the included DIN Infinity Corrected Optical System (ICOS) Objectives:  
    • Plan Phase Contrast 10x, NA 0.25, WD 12.1mm
    • Plan Phase Contrast 20x, NA 0.45, WD 1.5mm
    • Plan Phase Contrast 40x, NA 0.65 WD 0.36mm
    • Plan Phase Contrast 100x, NA 1.25, WD 0.18mm
  • Viewing Head: Trinocular gemel head, with 30° eyetubes. Interpupillary adjustment from 50-75mm.
  • Eyepieces: PL-WF 10x Widefield, plan eyepieces, FN20. Dual diopter with +/-5 adjustment. Accepts 26mm diameter reticle.
  • Total Magnification: 100x, 200x, 400x and 1000x.
  • Specimen Stage: 150x140mm mechanical stage with 76mm x 50mm movement range. Precision 0.1mm.
  • Illumination: High intensity 3W LED transmitted Koehler light system provides a bright and uniform field for each magnification. Voltage 100~240V.
  • Light Focusing: Phase contrast condenser with brightfield, phase, centering screws and centering telescope. Stops include BF, Ph1, Ph2, Ph3 and Ph4, with iris diaphragm.
  • Focusing: Coaxial coarse and fine focusing. Coarse focusing is 30mm with tightness adjustment and rack stop. Fine adjustment of 0.002mm.
  • Camera: Includes a 0.35x c-mount adapter and a 5.1 megapixel camera with basic image capture and measuring software. Capture images up to 2592x1944. Ability to capture motion video.
  • Software Calibration: If you plan to make measurements using the software you will need to calibrate the microscope. Calibrating your software with the microscope requires use of a stage micrometer. When ordering please select this option if you do not already have a stage micrometer. The stage micrometer has a dual ruler with scales of 1mm / 100 divisions and 10mm / 100 divisions. If NIST certification is selected 10 points will be certified. Please note that NIST certification takes approximately 2 weeks.
