The SOLA nIR LED Light Engine is a high performance illumination source with an intense light spectrum that is available either from 380-760nm or 350-760nm, providing bright illumination of the visible wavelengths needed. This light engine is extremely stable with less than 2% drift over 24 hours continuous operation. Light is pre-aligned and easy to install.
- Lamp: LED, >20,000 hours of visible, 3-4W visible white light, no UV/NIR. Light comparable to 120w metal halide illuminator.

- SOLA U-nIR = 350 - 760nm, 365nm Ultraviolet Source, 735nm near-IR Source with 3mm diameter liquid light guide.
- SOLA V-nIR = 380 - 760nm, 395nm Violet Source, 735nm near-IR Source with 3mm diameter liquid light guide.
- SOLA V-nIR = 380 - 760nm, 395nm Violet Source, 735nm near-IR Source with mmm diameter liquid light guide.
- Light Guide: 3mm or 5mm diameter liquid light guide (2m in length) and light guide adapter included.
- Collimator: Available for all major microscope brands.
- Control Interface: USB connector for remote control by light engine control pod or host computer. BNC input port for TTL-activated electronic shutter. Manual on/off, foot pedal plug. Foot pedal and control pod sold separately (see below).
- Warmup Time: 1 second.
