The Richter Optica S850 stereo zoom microscope provides magnification of 8x-50x zoom and is on a stand designed for gemological work. Choose from a binocular or trinocular viewing head; select when ordering.
- Head: Your choice of binocular or trinocular body:
- Binocular body, 45º inclined. Viewing head rotates 360°, locks in place by tightening set screw.
- Trinocular body, 45° inclined. Viewing head rotates 360°. Interpupillary adjustment from 54mm - 76mm. When beam splitter is engaged light is split between left eyetube and trinocular port, while right eyetube goes dark. Includes 0.4x c-mount adapter.
- Eyepieces: Includes widefield, high eyepoint plan 10x eyepieces, FN 22mm. Diopter adjustable +/-5 on each eyepiece. Interpupillary adjustment from 52mm to 75mm. Eyepieces accept 24mm diameter reticle. 15x and 20x eyepieces are available and can be ordered below.
- Objective Lenses: Zoom range of 0.8x - 5x. Microscope has click stops for making accurate measurements.
- Zoom Ratio: 6.3:1

- Specimen Stage: Hardcoat anodized surface measuring 7.5" x 7.5" with mounting hole for gem clamp on both sides to customize gem clamp positioning. Lever switches between brightfield and darkfield. Includes one gem clamp.
