The Richter Optica S2 stereo zoom microscope provides dual magnification of 10x and 30x and is on a short articulated arm clamp stand with an LED ring light.
- Head: Binocular or trinocular body. Viewing head rotates 360°, locks in place by tightening set screw. Trinocular head has a beam splitter that send light from the left eyetube to the trinocular port. Digital option includes 0.5x c-mount adapter and 3mp microscope digital camera and software when ordering.
- Eyepieces: Includes widefield 10x / 20mm high eyepoint eyepieces. Interpupillary adjustment from 55mm to 75mm. Diopter on left eyetube. Eyepieces accept 24mm diameter reticle. 15x and 20x eyepieces are available and can be ordered below.
- Objective Lenses: Paired 1x and 3x objectives. Magnification is changed by rotating objective turret 90° to positive click stops.
- Total Magnification: 10x and 30x.
- Stand: Short articulated arm stand clamps to table. Clamp opening size is 0-53mm. Distance of total articulated arm is 54". Height of articulated arm is adjustable.

- Focusing: Coarse focusing.
- Illumination: 48-LED Ring Light with intensity control and on/off switch. 110~240V.
- Digital Option: If the digital option is selected the microscope system includes a trinocular head, 0.5x c-mount adapter and USB 3mp camera with software. Software can be used to capture and save images (PC or MAC) or make measurements (PC only).
- Software Calibration: If you plan to make measurements using the software you will need to calibrate the microscope. Calibrating your software with the microscope requires use of a stage micrometer. When ordering please select this option if you do not already have a stage micrometer. The stage micrometer included is a dual ruler with 1" equally spaced and numbered 0-10 as well as 25mm equally spaced and numbered 0-25. If NIST certification is selected 10 points on each scale will be certified. Please note that NIST certification takes approximately 2 weeks.
