RB40 Gout Microscope

The Fein Optic RB40-Gout microscopes were designed for routine gout laboratory work.

• Objective Lenses: Quintuple objective turret holds the included DIN Infinity Corrected Optical System (ICOS) Objectives:
  • Plan Achromat 4x Objective, NA 0.10, WD 11.9mm
  • Plan Achromat 10x Objective, NA 0.25, WD 12.1mm
  • Plan Achromat 40x Objective, NA 0.65, WD 0.36mm
  • Plan Achromat 100x Objective, NA 1.25, WD 0.18mm, Oil Immersion
• Viewing Head: trinocular head with eyetubes inclined 30º with beam splitter positions of 100:0, 0:100.
• Eyepieces: FPL-WF 10x Widefield, high eyepoint eyepieces, FN22, one eyepiece contains reticle retaining ring for 26mm diameter reticle.
• Total Magnification: 40x, 100x, 400x and 1000x.
• Specimen Stage: Double-layer mechanical stage, 175mm x 145mm with right-hand ergonomic controls. Specimen holder allows for either one or two slides. X-Y Axis travel of 76mm x 50mm.
• Illumination: High intensity 3W LED transmitted Koehler light system gives a bright and uniform field for each magnification. Voltage 100~240V.
• Light Focusing: Telecentric Koehler illumination system provides NA 1.2/0.22 swing-out condenser for use with 2x-100x objectives. 
• Focusing: Coaxial coarse and fine focus adjustment with graduations of 2um. Ergonomic design provides optimal comfort for user when focusing.
• Gout: Includes polarizer, analyzer and incident wave plate (first order red).
