RB31 Phase Contrast Microscope

The Fein Optic RB31 biological phase contrast microscopes are designed for work where staining samples might damage or harm them. Phase contrast is a great alternative for protecting samples.

• Objective Lenses: Reversed quintuple objective turret holds the included DIN Infinity Corrected Optical System (ICOS) Objectives:  
  • Plan Phase Contrast 10x, NA 0.25, WD 12.1mm
  • Plan Phase Contrast 20x, NA 0.45, WD 1.5mm
  • Plan Phase Contrast 40x, NA 0.65 WD 0.36mm
  • Plan Phase Contrast 100x, NA 1.25, WD 0.18mm
• Viewing Head: Trinocular head with 30° eyetubes. Interpupillary adjustment from 48-75mm. The 3-position beam splitter provides 100% light to the camera, 50/50 to the camera and eyepieces, or 100% to eyepieces.
• Eyepieces: PL-WF 10x Widefield, plan eyepieces, FN22. Left eyetube has +/-5 focusing adjustment. 
• Total Magnification: 100x, 200x, 400x, and 1000x.
• Specimen Stage: 185 x 142m mechanical stage with 75mm x 50mm movement range. 
• Illumination: High intensity 3W LED transmitted Koehler light system provides a bright and uniform field for each magnification. Field iris is adjustable with slot for 45mm diameter filter. Blue, green, and yellow filters are included. Voltage 100~240V.
• Light Focusing: Phase contrast condenser with brightfield, phase, centering screws and centering telescope. Stops include BF, 10x PH, 20x PH, 40x PH, 100x PH, with iris diaphragm.
• Focusing: Coaxial coarse and fine focusing. Tension adjustable. Fine adjustment of 0.002mm.
