The National Optical 210 is a rechargeable compound microscope that provides 400x magnification. The student microscope has LED illumination.
- Objective Lenses: DIN 4x (NA = 0.10), 10x (NA = 0.25), 40xR (NA = 0.65) objectives are achromatic, parfocalled, parcentered, color coded. 45° inclined viewing head rotates 360° for easy re-positioning, sharing by more than one student.
- Eyepieces: Widefield 10x eyepiece with pointer. Accepts optional (#965-160) eyepiece reticle.
- Total Magnification: 40x, 100x, 400x.
- Specimen Stage: Large 120mm x 125mm stage with locked-on spring mounted stage clips. Accepts optional mechanical stage. Built-in 0.65NA condenser lens.
- Focusing: Separate low position coarse and fine focusing. Stage moves up and down while eyepiece and body remain fixed. Slip clutch prevents damage to focusing mechanism. Tension adjustment eliminates stage drift. Safety rack stop prevents damage to slides and objective lenses.
