The Mitutoyo SurfaceMeasure 1008S is a non-contact line laser sensor ideal for use in tire shape inspection, electrical adhesive inspection, electric vehicle battery cell assembly inspection, food industry inspection, electronics connector pin inspection, and automotive panel gap inspection. The SurfaceMeasure uses a unique optical system with conventional sensor technology to produce 2D profile measurements to 3D dimensional inspections. The sensor has guaranteed accuracy of 20µm and Z repeatability of 0.5µm.
