Metkon METACUT 302 Abrasive Cutter

The Metkon METACUT 302 is an abrasive cutter for the wet cutting of metallographic samples. This unit offers flexibility as it can cut large and small, or regularly and irregularly shaped samples. This unit can be used with either 250 or 300mm diameter cut-off wheels. The METACUT 302 has a powerful motor and a cutting table with t-slots where different clamping sets may be mounted. The system has a protective hood with a shatterproof window for observing the cutting operation. The cutting chamber is lit for easy viewing during operation.

A re-circulation cooling tank that can be used with the METACUT 302 is available separately for purchase. The METACUT 302 can be purchased as a table top unit, or it can be purchased with a storage cabinet.
