Description

The FZ8 high resolution stereo zoom microscope provides 6.5x - 52x magnification on an ergonomic post stand with LED dual pipe lights. The system includes your choice of digital camera and software.

Microscope Viewing Head: Trinocular 45º inclined viewing head rotates 360º. Light is split 50:50 between eyetubes and trinocular port. Includes c-mount adapter.
Eyepieces: Includes high eyepoint widefield focusable 10x eyepieces, FN 24 with ±5 diopter adjustment on each eye.
Objective Lenses: Zoom range of 0.65x - 5.2x. The microscope head can easily be set up to use click stops, or the stops may be disabled for continuous magnification. If enabled, click stops are at 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, and 5x.
Zoom Ratio: 8:1
Total Magnification: 6.5x - 52x. Magnification can be increased or decreased with auxiliary lenses. See magnification chart at bottom of page for details. Note that when changing eyepieces the magnification of the camera will not be altered.
Working Distance: 118mm. Can be adjusted from 26mm - 177mm depending on auxiliary lens utilized. See magnification chart below.
Field of View: 36.2mm at 6.5x and 4.7mm at 52x.
Stand: Ergonomic low-profile post stand with stage clips and 100mm black/white stage plate. Top of post on stand is 12" high.
Specimen Stage: Includes 100mm black and white stage plate and two stage clips.
Focusing: Coarse focusing holder.
Illumination: LED dual pipe illuminator clamps onto post stand. 110~240V power supply. Variable intensity control. Each self-supporting dual pipe is 24" in length and contains 3W LED.
Camera: Select when ordering from four options on the table below for the camera.
Software Calibration: Calibrating your software with the microscope requires use of a stage micrometer. A stage micrometer is available for purchase separately.
