FZ8 Stereo Zoom Microscope with Dual Pipe Lights

The FZ8 stereo zoom microscope on a plain post stand has dual pipe lights and is available in binocular or trinocular versions. A digital version of this microscope is also available for purchase here.

• Microscope Viewing Head: Select when ordering from a binocular or a trinocular viewing head. 45º inclined viewing head rotates 360º. On the trinocular viewing head, when the beam splitter is engaged, light is split between left eyetube and trinocular port, while right eyetube goes dark.
• Eyepieces: Includes high eyepoint widefield focusable 10x eyepieces, FN 24 with ±5 diopter adjustment on each eye.
• Objective Lenses: Zoom range of 0.65x - 5.2x.
• Zoom Ratio: 8:1. The microscope head can easily be set up to use click stops, or the stops may be disabled for continuous magnification. If enabled, click stops are at 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, and 5x.
• Total Magnification: 6.5x - 52x. Magnification can be increased or decreased with auxiliary lenses. See magnification chart at bottom of page for details.
• Working Distance: 100mm without auxiliary lens. See the magnification chart below for working distances with various auxiliary lenses.
• Field of View: 36.9mm at 6.5x and 4.6mm at 52x.
• Stand: Low-profile post stand with plain white base, 320mm W x 260mm D (12.6" W x 10.2" D). Top of post on stand is ~350mm (13.8") high, and the maximum distance between the microscope head and the base is ~260mm (10.2").
• Focusing: Coarse focusing holder.
• Illumination: The LED dual pipe light illuminator has the following specifications:
  • Each pipe light has a 5W LED light bulb with approximately 20,000 hours of bulb life.
  • Lights have variable intensity control.
  • Pipes are 18" long and self-supporting.
  • Power supply 90V-250V.
• Microscope Size: 320mm W x 280mm D x 480mm H (12.6" W x 11" D x  18.9" H)
• Warranty: 5 years excluding electrical parts and 1 year warranty on LED pipe lights.
