Description  

This Prior Scientific focus drive is not encoded and is made for use with the Nikon microscope listed below. The motorized focus control provides step sizes as small as 0.002µm, providing excellent resolution for precise and repeatable Z-axis focusing. For larger movements where speed is required, the focus motor can be driven up to 20 revolutions per second. The drive has a rotating cable system designed to prevent the cable from twisting around the drive.

  • Microscopes For Use With: Nikon SMZ18/25 (P2-FMDN only), SZM-1500, AZ100 (Upper Focus), MND54000/54010/444030
  • Minimum Step Size: 0.002µm
  • Top Speed: Up to 20 revolutions / second
  • Controlled By: ProScan III or OptiScan III controller
  • Includes: Focus drive system with coaxial coarse and fine focus, solid coupler kit.
