This Prior Scientific focus drive is encoded and is made for use with Accu-Scope 600exi microscopes. This focus drive is not for use with internally motorized microscopes. The motorized focus control provides step sizes as small as 0.002µm, providing excellent resolution for precise and repeatable Z-axis focusing. For larger movements where speed is required, the focus motor can be driven up to 20 revolutions per second. The drive has a rotating cable system designed to prevent the cable from twisting around the drive. Standard focus drive clamps onto the coarse and drives the fine focus with KT motor, bell housing clamps to tension ring and solid coupler.
