Heavy Liquids

Heavy liquids have been precisely calibrated for use when determining the density of non-porous solids. These liquids are used in Mineralogy, Geology, Quality control, and Instrumentation. There are two series of liquids, Aqueous and Organic. The Aqueous Series includes Inorganic Salts that are water soluble and are to be used with water insoluble materials. The Organic Series liquids are miscible with a variety of organic solvents and are intended for use with water soluble materials.
