National Optical 405TBL single magnification microscope with both top and bottom lights. Optional eyepieces may be purchased to achieve different magnifications.
- Objective Lenses: Objectives are parfocalled, parcentered, and achromatic. Standard magnification of 20x is considered ideal. Available objectives include 2x, 3x, or 4x.
- Eyepieces: Choose from wide field 5x, 10x, 15x or 20x eyepieces. Includes diopter on left side.
Interpupillary adjustment from 50mm to 75mm. Accepts optional (#965-400-05) and (#965-400-10) eyepiece reticles.

- Specimen Stage: 80mm reversible black/white plastic contrast plate and 80mm frosted glass stage plate, with locked-on stage clips.
- Focusing: Rack and pinion focusing with slip clutch and tension adjustment. Viewing head adjusts up and down to accommodate different specimen sizes.
- Illumination: 12v 10 watt built-in incidental (top) and transmitted (bottom) illumination with base mounted on/off switch. Lights can be used independently of each other.
- Size & Weight: 10 7/8 " high, 6 lbs.
