Using a Microscope Eyepiece Camera

Microscope Eyepiece CameraA microscope eyepiece camera can easily turn a monocular or binocular microscope that does not have a camera port into a digital microscope. A fairly inexpensive way to upgrade an older microscope that does not have a camera port, also known as a trinocular port, is by simply adding an eyepiece camera.

The eyepiece camera drops into an eyetube with inside diameter of 23mm, 30mm, or 30.5mm.

The color eyepiece camera provides 5.1 megapixels and will allow the user to view a live image on their computer.  The basic software allows for capturing and saving of both still images and video.
