Meiji Microscope Digital and Video Camera Adapters

There are several ways to attach a camera to a microscope. Click on your preferred method below to view the options available.

  • C-Mount Adapters - used for connecting microscope digital cameras and microscope video cameras to the trinocular port on a microscope. These cameras have a "C" thread (1" diameter thread) and will thread directly onto the adapter. The most commonly used adapters are listed here, if you do not see a specific C-Mount adapter you are looking for, please call us.

  • Standard Digital Camera Adapters - used to connect many consumer point and shoot digital cameras to the microscope. These adapters fit directly into either the eyetube or the trinocular tube on a Meiji microscope.

  • SLR Camera Adapters - used to connect digital SLR cameras to the microscope. These adapters fit on the trinocular port on a Meiji microscope and consist of three parts: the adapter, T-mount, and a photo eyepiece.
