ZEISS Axiovert 5 Used Digital Microscope

This used Axiovert 5 digital biology microscope is an inverted microscope for designed for advanced routine work. This inverted microscope includes a tablet rather than eyepieces for easy sample viewing. An integrated monochrome 5 Megapixel digital camera is included with this system. This system was used over the course for about a year for customer demonstrations. The optics are fully functional, and the system has been cleaned.

  • Object Guide and Inserts = Specimen stage 232mm x 230mm with hardcoat anodized surface
  • Object guide (130mm x 85mm ) mountable on both sides is included. Includes mounting frame and insert for petri dishes as well as insert for slides and chambers. The following types of sample containers can be accommodated: petri dishes with the following diameters: d=88 mm, 65 mm, 54 mm, and 36 mm; object slides 76x26 mm; and chambers (ibidi® µ-Slide®, Nunc® Lab-Tek® / Lab-Tek II).
    
• Focusing: Coarse and fine focusing with 13mm focus lift with adjustable focus stop.
• Condenser: LD Condenser NA 0.4. Includes phase slider for brightfield and phase contrast.
  
• Illumination: Transmitted light illumination is provided by a white 10W LED (>60000 hours average lifetime). A phosphorescence block filter is included as well as light shield to block ambient light. Integrated Illumination System RGB-UV is equipped with 4 solid state LEDs. The average LED lifetime depends on its wavelength.
  • Red (625 nm) for excitation of Cy5, Alexa 631, TOTO-3 and similar dyes (> 60000 hrs)

  • The Labscope AI cell confluency module uses AI technology to automatically determine the confluency level of adherent cell culture samples. The module may be used with both live and stored images. The software is optimized for phase contrast images of adherent of cell cultures.
