The Motic DS2 is the perfect inspection microscope with built-in digital camera at an affordable cost. Magnifies at 20 & 40 times: prepared slides, insects, flowers and rocks. This microscope is perfect for dissecting and capturing images! Unlike standard classroom microscopes, the image is upright and unreversed, making it easier to manipulate the specimen on stage. It uses rechargeable LED lighting on a flexible multi-angle gooseneck. Microscope has optical glass lenses and prism, easy rack and pinion focusing, and metal construction. Includes software and accessories for plug-n-play. The DS-2 microscope includes the following:

• Objective Lenses: Built-in 2x objective. Comes with 2x auxiliary objective as well.
• Eyepiece: 10x widefield eyepiece.
• Total Magnification: Magnification of 20x when the auxiliary objective is not attached, 40x when it is attached.
• Specimen Stage: Includes stage clips for securing specimen and a 60mm reversible black and white stage plate.
• Focusing: Rack and pinion focusing, includes a special slip clutch to prevent damage to mechanism. Post mounted focusing block, adjustable up and down to accommodate larger specimens.

• Frame: Rugged metal frame with non-skid rubber feet. All parts are locked-on to prevent loss.
