WDI Wise Device Inc. Modular Microscope Systems
WDI's modular microscope systems have been designed and manufactured for a diverse range of applications and include various models of automated lens changers, illuminators, Z-axis actuators, and microscope bodies. These modular microscopy systems provide precise solutions in metrology, electronics, biomedical, flat panel display, and semiconductor applications. WDI's modular components can be configured to build custom systems that easily integrate into third party optical systems including ZEISS, Mitutoyo, Olympus, Leica, Nikon, Excelitas, Navitar, Fein Optic, and more.
For more demanding industrial microscopy imaging applications and processes which require laser micro machining, trimming, or repair, WDI has engineered a line of automated optical inspection and laser micro machining microscopes (MIC). Similar to the Modular Microscope System (MMS), the MIC line easily integrates with WDI's technology to create a fully autonomous system encompassing focus, illumination, and lens actuation. Reflected Dark Field (RDF) illumination, a power observation and inspection method in optical microscopy, uses oblique light to allow visualization and imaging of structures not normally seen. Many applications such as dust and scratch defect detection in FDP and semiconductor manufacturing make use of RDF. WDI's new patent pending RDF illuminator technology provides significant improvements over existing techniques and integrates with our current line of single objective and multi objective PFA MMS technology to provide customers with an automated BF/DF imaging platform.
