The MW1-HD2 brings digital microscopy into a classroom that may not have computers. This digital microscope allows teachers to instruct without having multiple microscopes for each student. The 3.5" LCD screen is large enough to accommodate multiple students at one time.
- Objective Lenses: Achromatic, glass 4x, 10x and 40x (retractable) mounted on a revolving objective turret. 4x objective can be used with top flexible LED light to view non-transparent objects such as leaves, rocks or paper.
- LCD Screen: 3.5" LCD screen allows students to capture 5 megapixel images to the internal memory or onto an SD card (not provided) to transfer images to a computer later. Images can be captured by pressing buttons on base of screen.
- Total Magnification: 40x, 100x, 400x.
- Specimen Stage: Includes locked-on stage clips for securing specimen slide. Focus stop prevents students from crashing objectives into the stage.
- Focusing: Precision single-rail focusing control. Includes 6-position disc diaphragm.
- Illumination: LED flexible top light and built-in bottom lights have intensity control.
- Camera: Capture or display 5 megapixel CMOS images with the following:
- Built-in 128MB Memory
- Internal SD-card expansion slot (card is not included)
- USB output (640x480) to PC computer with use of included software (Does not work with MAC)
- Analog output for connect to TV or LCD projector. Composite cable required (not supplied).
