IMA/USP 788 Pharmaceutical Particle Counting and Sizing Digital Microscope

The IMA/USP 788 digital pharmaceutical particle sizing and particle counting microscope includes software that specifically allows for particle counting, particle sizing and shape analysis, ideal for the pharmaceutical industry. This microscope also meets all the standards required for IMA/USP 788 particulate testing.

This IMA/USP 788 Pharmaceutical Particle Counting and Sizing Digital Microscope Includes:

• Objective Lens: Objectives are mounted in reversed quintuple nosepiece. DIN Infinity Corrected Optical System (ICOS) and include the following:
  • LWD Plan Achromat Metallurgical 5x, NA 0.15, WD 10.8mm
  • LWD Plan Achromat Metallurgical 10x, NA 0.30, WD 12.2mm
  • LWD Plan Achromat Metallurgical 20x, NA 0.45, WD 4mm
• Viewing Head: 30° inclined gemel trinocular viewing head with interpupillary adjustment of 54mm - 75mm. Diopters +/-5 on each eyetube. Ergonomic head is available, please call for details. Includes 0.5x c-mount adapter for camera connection.
• Eyepieces: High eyepoint widefield plan 10x eyepieces F.N. 22. Includes custom IMA/USP 788 counting chamber reticle that has been specially made to match with the microscope magnification factor and calibrated using a NIST certified stage micrometer.
  
• Total Magnification: 50x, 100x, 200x.
• Specimen Stage: Double layer mechanical 175mm x 145mm stage with coaxial adjustment movement range of 76mm (X) x 42mm (Y). Includes metal plate.
• Illumination: Reflected Koehler illumination 5w LED, with oblique light device, centerable and adjustable field and aperture diaphragm, warm color. Voltage 100~240V. Includes 360° rotatable analyzer, and polarizer for reflected light. Reflected illuminator arm includes filter slots for colored sliders (sold separately).Includes dual pipe LED illumination system, intensity adjustable, for external 10-20º angle light. Each pipe light is self-supporting.
  
• Focusing: Reflected frame has coaxial focus system with tension adjustment and rack stop. Coarse range 28mm, fine precision of 0.002mm. Maximum sample height is 78mm.
• Camera & Software: Includes 3.1 megapixel color CMOS camera with 20fps at 1200 x 768, 10fps at full resolution. Image analysis software includes particle counting, particle sizing, shape analysis and ability to find area of particles.
