National Optical 420 Stereo Zoom Microscope

National Optical's stereo zoom microscope on a universal (boom) stand offers upright, unreversed 3-dimensional images that remain in focus throughout the zoom range. Optional auxiliary objectives expand magnification range and working distances.

 

• Objective Lenses: 1x - 4x objective - provides continuous zoom magnification. Viewing head rotates 360°.
• Eyepieces: Choose from paired widefield 5, 10x, 15x or 20x eyepieces that are 45° inclined, with dual diopter adjustments, interpupillary adjustment from 55mm to 75mm. Accepts 23mm eyepiece reticle. Microscope is binocular (if camera is selected with this version the camera must be placed over the eyepiece). Trinocular version has a beam splitter which allows the light from the left eyetube to travel to the trinocular port for better camera light.

• Stand: Professional all-metal boom stand - heavy-duty post mount with locking support collar, permits up or down adjustment of viewing head to accommodate different sized objects. Base of stand is 285mm (11.2") x 260mm (10.2") x 32mm (1.3"). Maximum distance from vertical post to end of the base is 235mm (9.3"). Vertical post is 380mm (15") tall. Horizontal post is 530mm (20.9") long.
• Focusing: Rack and pinion focusing with large dual focusing knobs with slip clutch to prevent damage to mechanism. Tension adjustment eliminates focus 'drift'.
• Illumination: Select fluorescent ring light, LED ring light, 150w halogen fiber optic dual pipe light, or 150w halogen fiber optic ring light.
• Camera Option: Your choice of 1.3, 2.0 or 3.0 mega pixel camera with software for capturing images and making measurements. If trinocular microscope is selected the camera will mount directly to the included c-mount on the trinocular port. If binocular is selected the camera will mount over the eyepiece.
