The MW3-H1 high-power monocular microscope has a reversed objective turret for easy objective changing and positioning of specimen slides. Preferred by teachers, the 5-watt fluorescent illumination system provides optimum image brightness, virtually no bulb heat and has a 10,000-hour rated bulb life.
- Objective Lenses: DIN 4x, 10x and 40x (retractable) objectives are achromatic, parcentered, parfocalled, color-coded.
45° inclined viewing head rotates 360° for easy sharing by more than one student, or for reverse position viewing.
- Eyepieces: Widefield 10x eyepiece with revolving pointer, supplied in both diagonal and vertical viewing tubes. Accepts optional 19mm diameter eyepiece reticle.
- Total Magnification: 40x, 100x, 400x.
- Specimen Stage: Large 120mm x 125mm stage (4 3/4" x 5"),
includes locked-on, spring mounted stage clips, drilled and tapped to accept optional mechanical stage.
- Focusing: Low position coarse and fine focusing controls.
Slip clutch prevents damage to focusing system and
tension adjustment eliminates stage drift.
Safety rack stop prevents damage to slides and objective lenses.
- Illumination: 5 watt fluorescent illumination delivers greater light and longer life than standard tungsten bulbs. Virtually heat free operation with base-mounted on/off switch.
