Many of the ProgRes® cameras have the ability to trigger the camera shutter from a location that may not be right next to the camera. An external signal is transferred to the camera, which reacts by capturing the image.

In order to use the trigger function, the camera must be connected with a special cable to the processor that accepts the trigger signal.
