| Description: The National Optical 134-CLED high school instruction microscope has LED illumination and 1000x magnification. This microscope delivers higher light efficiency than standard 20 watt tungsten bulb, and cool operating temperature prolongs specimen life when viewing live material. Same precision optical and mechanical features as our best selling 130 series. Combines extra rugged construction with user-friendly features.
- Objective Lenses: DIN 4x, 10x, 40xR and 100xR objectives are achromatic, parcentered, parfocalled, color-coded.
45° inclined viewing head rotates 360° for easy sharing by more than one student, or for reverse position viewing.
- Eyepieces: Widefield 10x eyepiece with revolving pointer, supplied in both diagonal and vertical viewing tubes. Accepts optional (#965-160) eyepiece reticle.
- Total Magnification: 40x, 100x, 400x, 1000x.
- Specimen Stage: Large 120mm x 120mm (4-3/4 in. x 4-3/4 in.) stage, with professional quality, low profile mechanical specimen holder with low-position coaxial x-y controls.
- Focusing: Low position coarse and fine focusing controls.
Slip clutch prevents damage to focusing system and
tension adjustment eliminates stage drift.
Safety rack stop prevents damage to slides and objective lenses.
- Condenser: 1.25 NA Abbe condenser with iris diaphragm.
- Illumination: LED light rated up to 50,000 hrs life, cool burning illumination greater than a 20w tungsten bulb. Base-mounted on/off switch and heavy duty 3-wire cord. Convenient "grabber" clip on plug lets you wrap the cord around the microscope and secure it in place by pushing the cord into the clip for easy storage. No bulky cord hanger needed.
